So my old company calls Monday, wants a favor. Attend a pre bid meeting today. Ok. I quote a fee, they agree to it. Go to meeting, take notes, ask questions. Come home and write it up. Done!

Then I get the sub contractor agreement. Five pages to digest and sign. Insurance required? Wtf?
This is a one off favor. Just send me my check.
Now I have to call and sort things out tomorrow.
If they get the contract, and they want my help. It's going to cost them plenty. I don't need this stress.
