I decided to spend some of my Obamacare savings on flying lessons. Have done two solo flights so far without scaring anybody.

Finishing tiling the laundry room, then building a table for same, and then building an 8 foot side board for the dining room.

It's good you have the resources to dabble with such hobbies. The demented one we gather here to poke fun of can only afford to keep an internet connection for his chosen avocation of trolling the internet 10 hours a day, 6(7?) days a week!

Spending my summer with my sweetie putting finishing touches on our recently remodeled condo and backpacking various wilderness areas, Bob Marshall next up in a couple of weeks. That area of Montana (Bob Marshall) is very nice. Today flying is actually pretty safe. The FAA has really tightened the licensing requirements for a Private Pilot (most accidents are caused by pilot error.) I was surprised that a $1 million liability policy for flying was only $205/yr. I pay $288/yr for $300,000 on my automobile. intercst

Yes, I know flying is pretty safe these days. Bad things can happen but that shouldn't keep a person from doing what they enjoy. A friend of mine has his pilot's license and would dearly love to buy a plane but unfortunately he's unemployed/underemployed so it's not viable for him at this time. Plus he lives in the mountains and needs a higher performance engine ($$) than he would if he lived in flyover country.
Could we get a board separate from this general one (i.e. one GENERAL and one HOCOMANIA) devoted just to playing Poke-the-Troll (granted, in absentia!) with hocus? It feels award chronicling his delusions in one catchall category. I like to separate business from pleasure!
